A multipurpose room will be located on the east end of the first floor. The zero-grade entry and universal promenade at left will ensure accessibility.

The west end of the first floor will house the administrative offices of the Center on Health, Aging, and Disability, including the Linda Ayers Whitney Reception Area.

The first floor will also be home to an instructional center and the James K. and Karen S. McKechnie Laboratory.

An instructional center, faculty offices, and administrative offices of the Master of Public Health Program will be located on the second floor of the north addition.

The east end of the third floor will house a professional resource center for students. Research laboratories and a video conference center will line the north wall facing the Armory.

Twin chimneys grace the east and west ends of the building; each weighs 65 tons.

On the west end of the third floor, faculty working with the Center on Health, Aging, and Disability will find dedicated space for developing research projects, writing grants, and so on.
